UGO LA PIETRA - CROSSING
Photographs - Drawings - Projects- of an ARTIST - RADICAL ARCHITECT '68 -'75

The exhibition presents a selection of  original vintage photos of Ugo La Pietra's performances and early drawings, Immersioni, taken from his  notebooks.

Ugo La Pietra, radical artist and architect,  was already a keyfigure in 1972  exhibition at  MoMA in New York, Italy the New Domestic Landscape whith the Casa Telematica / Telematic House. La Pietra has been founder and leading member of the Italian avant-garde movement of the '60s and' 70s that will go down in history with the name of Architettura Radicale/ Radical Architecture.

Mostra Ugo La Pietra l'Attraversamento. Fotografie - Disegni - Progetti di un Artista / Architetto Radicale '68 - '75.

A selection of original documents from the collection of Spazio e Immagini focused on Counterculture and graphic inventions between the 60s and 70s. Leaflets of students movement, posters and Fogli Creativi that reveal a new aesthetic and communicative approach (A/traverso, Oreste-Giornale di Piazza, etc…), and the publishing house (Squilibri).

The exhibition presents a live history of the French May through a series of original vintage prints.

La poesie est dans la rue / Poetry is in the street, says one of the slogans of the student revolt, as if from the streets of Paris a new, non-political reality could originate, the result of an unknown action that is poetic.
